Jaco Beach Village is a new gated oceanfront luxury condominium community of 15 individually titled, residential units located in four, two and three storey buildings.
Jaco Beach Village, is only two hours from San Jose International airport by the Costanera coastal highway in the Central Pacific zone. A proposed highway from San Jose via Orotina will shorten driving time by at least an hour. Jaco is a long established beach town which has recently started to grow rapidly because of its proximity to San Jose. Population estimate is currently at around 20,000. Traditional industry including cattle and rice farming and fishing, has given way in the last 8 years, to a booming construction and tourism economy. New hotels and resorts newly built in and around Jaco include Ramada, St Regis, Holiday Inn, Sonesta and Marriott with Jaco being the commercial heart.
Located in a quiet residential section, Jaco Beach Village is minutes from the ocean but also just minutes from Jaco's main street with shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and farmacias.
The red tile roofs are offset by the canary yellow color of the exterior walls.  Landscaped gardens with flowering bushes and low tropical palms lead to the pool and ranchito.
The interior finishes include granite and marble countertops, Frigidaire electric stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer. Telephone, TV and hi speed internet connections are installed.
The condominiums have been professionally designed for casual oceanfront living. Ocean breezes cool the rooms and lovely courtyard areas which are literally only a stones throw to the water.
The overall ambience is of a small private community unlike the 10-15 storye condo towers found in many newly developing beach towns in Costa Rica. For hikers and walkers there is a major national park Manuel Antonio one hour south in Quepos, which also has an airport. A smaller National Park, Carrera is just 20 minutes. Here there are many flocks of red and military macaws and excellent jungle hiking.

Residents can enjoy wide, unspoiled oceanfront views and the spectacular sunsets. The nearest cottage hospital is in Quepos one hour by a good road going south. All medical services are available plus government health clinics in Jaco. Major hospitals are found in San Jose 2 1/2 hours away.
Jaco Beach is noted for surfing, increasing the pleasures of the beach for watching or participating.  Included in Jaco Beach Village is a surfing shop offering equipment, instruction and tours. The shop is managed by one of the owners, a professional surfer. The National Surfing championships have been held in Jaco over past years. Many other watersports are available. There are plenty of other activities in this small, but vibrant town. With a new cinema being built, private gyms, tennis courts and good restaurants in close proximity. A brand new state of the art cinema is being built, and there is golf at Los Suenos, the huge Marriot hotel, condo and apartment complex just 15 minutes away. And for sailors, there is Costa Rica's largest marina in the same direction. Local participation sports and games are available in Jaco. Especially football which is very big and very active in Jaco on all levels, including five a side.
Aside from short-term vacations many retirees live most of the year in Jaco. There is a Rental Programme managed by the Developers for all condo projects so there is income to be earned or to offset a mortgage.
